This historic former Railway Inn was built in 1870 to service the former local railway station - Defynnog & Sennybridge.
It has always remained as a hotel/inn and, after being refurbished and renovated in recent years, it has once again become the beating heart of the community.
Situated in Sennybridge Village, within the beautiful Bannau Brycheiniog / Brecon Beacons National Park, The Usk & Railway Inn offers traditional furnishings, delicious menus and a welcoming atmosphere.

The bar offers a wonderful selection of drinks and bar snacks. We have large TVs to watch sporting events, it's dog-friendly, parking is available and there is also free WiFi.

Dogs are welcome at the Usk and Railway Inn.
We are unable to accommodate dogs in the dining room but they are welcome to join you at a table in the bar if kept on a lead. Pre booking is advisable as our available tables quickly fill up.
We also welcome dogs in our rooms (max 1 per room). Dogs must be pre-booked before arrival. Please call 01874 636101.
The charge per dog is £10 per night.
Please don’t allow dogs on the furniture or bed and don’t forget to bring towels to wipe pooch down before going upstairs to your bedroom.

Easily found on the A40, 8 miles west of Brecon and 12 miles east of Llandovery the Usk & Railway Inn Is located at the heart of the village of Sennybridge in the beautiful Brecon Beacons.
Originally built in 1870, the interior has recently been fully refurbished, we now have an open bar dining area and 6 en-suite letting rooms.
At the rear of the building we have a residents’ car park which has a smooth tarmac finish and leads to a disabled entrance door off a slightly sloping ramp with handrails. There is also a small amount of tarmac surfaced parking at the front of the building which is sloped and leads to the entrance which has 3 steps.
The ground floor is an open plan bar with a disabled toilet.
Our bedrooms are all located on the first floor which is accessed by a 13 step staircase with a turn. The staircase is fully carpeted with handrails. We are always ready to help with your luggage.
We welcome guests with disabilities whenever possible, and would like you to feel free to contact us if you have any queries regarding a visit to the Inn to avoid any disappointment.
