All our meat is from the local butcher, our eggs are all local and free range, and we use local produce whenever possible.

Introducing our “Carte de la Semaine” - these dishes will be slightly more special than the classic staples found on our main menu. Head Chef Mike Garner will regularly introduce new dishes, keeping our offering fresh and exciting. Our business has always been passionate about supporting and using locally sourced and grown produce wherever possible and the dishes are designed to show off what the local community and environs have to offer in all their glory. Ingredients are in season, full of flavour and at their best! The dishes include celebrations of Welsh cuisine, augmented by tastes and influences from around the World.

This week our Welsh Mullet comes from MacDonald’s of Brecon Fishmongers; our meat from Paddy Sweeney’s of Brecon; and, where possible, our vegetables from Penpont’s organic farm shop, grown right here just outside of Sennybridge. We are more than willing to provide a list of which vegetables are sourced from Penpont on request.
